Dr. Verna Hunt BSc DC ND
Verna is a naturopathic doctor, chiropractor and kinesiologist in clinical practice for over 30 years. Her education includes:1973 Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Waterloo in Kinesiology,1979 Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, 1982 Naturopathic Doctor the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine plus many continuing education courses.
Her clients encompass all ages and stages of the health and life cycle. In each case she assesses the underlying causes of the individual’s lack of wellness and tailors care to their particular situation while teaching them how to care for themselves over a lifetime. Tara Marcinkowski BAH ND |

Tara is a naturopathic doctor, graduated from The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), one of two accredited colleges for naturopathy in Canada. Prior to attending CCNM, Tara completed her undergraduate degree in Philosophy at The University of Western Ontario. Tara wanted to be a doctor from a young age and philosophy provided the perfect framework of inquiry to lead her to the profession of naturopathic medicine.
Tara enjoys working with families, teaching them how to consciously lead a healthier life. She is a member of Canadian Physicians for the Environment (CAPE) and is an avid learner of all things environmental. In practice, Tara aims at discovering the root cause of each health concern and provides individualized treatment plans to restore balance. She works with people at all stages of life, especially children. Naturopathic medicine can help in most acute and almost all chronic conditions.

Tanya Meyers RMT
Tanya is a RMT who provides many types of massage at the Centre as well as in-home massage therapy treatments. In her clinical practice Tanya treats varying conditions including therapeutic breast massage, prevention and treatment of repetitive strain injuries and sports injuries, neurological conditions and nerve impingement, chronic muscle tightness and spasms, arthritis and tendinitis, palliative conditions, fibromyalgia, and other chronic pain disorders. Tanya also has additional training in Reiki (level 2) and Thai Massage (2 certificates, 1 from Thailand).
Tanya also teaches workshops on “Basic Massage Techniques To use at Home” and “Infant Massage for Parents and Caregivers”. She is an examiner for the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, and former Media Representative for the Toronto chapter of the Ontario Massage Therapy Association. Her additional training in Pre-natal and Post-natal massage, Infant massage has given her the opportunity to provide doula labour support for mothers, pregnancy and post-partum massage and teach infant massage to parents and health care providers.

Staff
Mary-Lynne Howell RPN, Clinical Assistant Mary-Lynne assists Dr. Hunt with client assessment and care. She also administers Detoxification Footbaths, Active Air Therapy, Colour & Sound Therapy, Gait Analysis and our in house lab tests.
Barbara Cowdy, Office Manager
Barbara brings years of organizational and management experience to her work of making sure that the Centre runs smoothly. She also has a keen interest in the well being of our clients and their pets through natural methods.
Laura Sheriff, Core Cleanse Therapist & Project Manager
Laura administers our Core Cleanse Detoxification Program, and works with Dr. Hunt on her many projects including speaking engagements, article writing, and special functions.
Donna Gautreau, Receptionist Donna works part-time at the front desk, mainly during Dr. Tara’s office hours. Her extensive human resources knowledge and organizational expertise are a great support for the Centre. Donna is enthusiastic about her role at the Centre and enjoys meeting our clients.
